Luxury Whisky Club

Luxury Whisky Club was founded in 2022 by myself, Ron Heutz: Businessman, bon vivant and whisky enthusiast.

Let me outline my whisky adventure: 16 years ago I was introduced to what later turned out to be turned out to be my passion. Namely, my first real whisky tasting at the Jamesson Distillery in Dublin. It was love at first sight. It was the beginning of a journey full of passion and unsurpassed taste. At first mainly as an enthusiast and then definitely with a business goal in mind. Following this first tasting, I familiarised myself extensively with whisky and everything around it. After this introduction, I continued to explore Scotland, the birthplace of whisky. My knowledge and skills by participating in many whisky tastings, both in the Netherlands and in Scotland, which I have been revisiting annually for 15 years.

However, my interest in whiskies increasingly focused on discovering Rare whiskies; older whiskies from around 20 years old. The taste of these has left an indelible impression on me. To such an extent, in fact, that I prefer to devote myself exclusively to the world of Rare whiskies. From my love for these old special whiskies, I would like to involve other lovers of Rare whiskies.

I also organise tastings myself on request. This can be on location and/or at company parties. These tastings can be designed with whiskies that are accessible to everyone, but these can also be special tastings: Such as very exclusive whiskies, cognacs, wines and rums. In short; everything is possible.
